"CHC installed solar panels on my house in a timely and professional manner. The service has always been excellent and I now also have a service plan for my system with them as well. As part of the service plan I get a annual clean and inspection and unlike one of the larger companies I have dealt with CHC are always prompt to send me a letter reminding me that the service is due."

AFTER ten years as a traditional plumbing and central heating firm, Abacus Eco is trying something new.
Director Richard Turner has set up subsidiary company Abacus Eco Ltd to take advantage of the
interest in alternative power sources.
The new firm deals with solar heating and heat pumps, which efficiently manipulates the higher
temperatures underground or in the air to transfer it to provide under-floor or water heating.
The Arnold firm is installing solar panels for free to help heat Horsendale Primary School in Nuthall.
Equipment is also being supplied free by firm Baxi.
The Government has launched a Solar4Schools programme, offering funding to meet half the
costs of fitting solar panels.
Mr Turner said: “People can talk to the school and see how many kilowatt hours [of energy] they are
generating.
